These
are the Mint State MS70 Silver Eisenhowers from 1971
through
1976. The obverse honors President Dwight D. Eisenhower and the
reverse
commemorates the first landing of man on the moon. Designed by
Chief
Engraver Frank Gasparro, Ikes are among the most collectible US Coins.
The exception is the 1976 Bicentennial Ike, which has a reverse that
features
the Liberty Bell superimposed over the moon, which was designed by
Dennis
R. Williams A 1975 was never made, as
the 1976 Bicentennials were made
for 2 years. Each comes slabbed in the protective SGS cases, and
serial
numbered. Each
coin also comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from SGS
with the matching serial number of
your coin, guaranteeing its quality and
genuiness. |
