mint released 2 nickels in 2004 and 2 in 2005, making up the Westward
Journey
series. Type 1 in 2004 is for the Louisiana Purchase, Type 2 is
for the Lewis &
Clark Expedition. Type 1 in 2005 features an American Bison, and
Type 2 shows
the Lewis & Clark Expedition reaching the Pacific Ocean.
The obverse of the 2005
nickels features a new
visage of Thomas Jefferson, which is considerably closer.
Here we have both from each year, from each mint, each SGS graded MS70.
Each
one comes slabbed in
the protective SGS cases, sealed with the gold SGS seals,
and serial numbered. Each coin
also comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from
SGS with the matching
serial number of your coin, guaranteeing its quality and
